House rules
At Sãrana®, everything is about calm, for you and for the guests next to you. That is why we ask everyone to respect a few simple rules. This keeps your visit pleasant, hygienic and relaxed from start to finish.
Our appointments
Hygiene first
- Always shower before using a sauna, bath or the hammam, and after every sauna session.
- Always use a towel in the saunas, including under your feet. This keeps the wood clean for everyone.
- Wear your flip-flops everywhere, except in the saunas and baths themselves.
- Shaving, scrubbing with your own products or washing your hair is done at home, not in the baths.
Nudity and swimwear
- Sãrana is generally a naturist wellness centre: in the saunas and baths you do not wear swimwear, for hygiene reasons.
- In the relaxation areas and the restaurant, you wear your bathrobe.
- On Wednesdays and Saturdays we hold a swimwear day and you do wear swimwear.
- Swimming goggles are not allowed in the swimming pool
Respect and privacy
- Everyone comes to rest here. Staring, unwanted advances or pushy behaviour have no place here and lead to immediate removal from the centre.
- Taking photos and videos is not allowed anywhere, not even of yourself. Your smartphone stays in your locker or in the designated zones.
- Treat the staff and other guests the way you would like to be treated. Always follow the instructions of our team.
An e-reader without a camera is welcome in the relaxation areas of Sãrana Wellness Ninove. Show your device to our reception on arrival. Use it without sound and put it away when you visit the saunas, steam baths or baths.
Peace and quiet
- Keep your voice down in the sauna areas and baths. In the relaxation and nap areas, complete silence applies.
- Reserved loungers do not exist: leaving a towel and disappearing is not the idea.
Eating, drinking and smoking
- Eating and drinking is possible in our restaurant and in the designated areas. Do not bring your own food or drink.
- Drink alcohol in moderation: heat and alcohol are not a good combination.
- Smoking and vaping is only possible in the outdoor smoking area.
Health and safety
- Not sure whether a sauna visit is wise with a medical condition, during pregnancy or when taking medication? Ask your doctor for advice beforehand.
- Feeling unwell? Tell a member of staff straight away. Our team is there to help you.
- If you come with a fever, a contagious condition or open wounds, we ask you to postpone your visit.
Practical
- Keep valuables in your locker. Sãrana is not responsible for loss or theft of belongings, whether inside or outside the lockers.
- Anyone who does not respect the house rules may be asked to leave the wellness centre, without a refund.

What should I bring?
Two towels, flip-flops and a bathrobe. Everything is also available to rent or buy on site.
